This jam-packed program is conducted in South West Scotland.
Having arrived at the base lodging late Friday morning, we stay just long enough to drop off the necessaries in the rooms before being driven to the first location for an afternoons fishing at a small remote loch where we get used to having our string pulled.
After returning for an evening meal at the Farm which we use as our base, we inspect what is to be our next fishing venue, a 78 acre loch, full of wild brown trout, this we will fish from a traditional Loch style clinker boat, with oars and the wind as our only propulsion.
After this rekkie, its supper time followed by some fly dressing and a ‘wee’ dram or three. Saturday starts with a full breakfast, then onto the loch, with a packed lunch at the Bothie to look forward to later in the day.
Evening sees another wonderful farmhouse cooked meal, with the option to fish the evening if fancied, followed by supper and the ubiquitous Dram. The next morning is breakfast and home, however independent fishing can be arranged for the Sunday if required.
